Our Process
Our process involves a total assessment of the health of a business. By 'total' we mean that we don't just look at the internal operations of the business, but also gather feedback from suppliers and customers - we assess the entire 'Value Chain' of the business.

When all the components of this chain are optimised, the business is at its most competitive. By assessing each link in this chain, the Hawthorne Academy can determine the opportunities for greater performance.
We achieve this through confidentially interviewing all the stakeholders in a business: management, staff, suppliers and customers. We also look at the performance history of the business by investigating trends in Key Performance Indicators (financial, sales, quality, retention, etc), and other statistical data whose relevance emerges during the interviewing process.
This incredibly powerful process not only identifies the strengths and opportunities within a business, but also reveals information about the industry and market that the business operates in. It produces a total picture of the business.
This picture illustrates why you are getting the results you are getting, and the most effective strategies for moving forward.

On completion of the consultancy we will make a presentation to the client outlining our findings and recommendations as well as submitting a written report. We provide ongoing support after the consultancy for a period determined by the nature of the results.
It should be understood that this process goes deep into the organisation and is very intimate. It can also be challenging at times, and can require the client to have the courage to make difficult decisions.
